Recentre is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our repair service. Last updated 19 October 2026.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and return postal address when you book
• Details about your controller and any fault you describe
• Payment confirmation from Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Anonymous, cookie-free website analytics (page views and referrers)

Why we use it

To carry out the repair you've paid for, return your controller, contact you about it, and handle warranty claims (contract). Also to keep accounting records (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), our postal carrier (delivery), our email provider and our analytics provider. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@recentre.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site doesn't use tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookie-free, so there's no cookie banner.
