Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our TMR stick drift repair: what it costs, how postage works, which controllers we fix and what the warranty covers.
Price and payment
How much does stick drift repair cost?
£35 per controller. That covers both sticks upgraded to premium TMR modules, a clean, calibration, before-and-after testing and tracked return postage. You only pay to post it to us.
When do I pay?
You pay securely online through Stripe when you book. Then you'll see our postal address and packing instructions straight away.
What if you can't fix my controller?
We'll contact you first and post it back tracked. If we can't repair it because of damage that was already there, we keep £15 for inspection and tracked return postage and refund £20. If we can't repair it for a reason that's down to us, you get the full £35 back.
Postage and turnaround
How long does the repair take?
We repair it within 2 working days of it arriving, then send it back Royal Mail Tracked 48. Allow around 6 working days door to door if you post with a 48-hour tracked service.
How should I post my controller?
Bubble wrap it, put it in a small sturdy box and use a tracked service. Send the controller only, without cables, cases or batteries. See our full packing guide.
Do you cover the whole UK?
Yes. We repair controllers posted from anywhere in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The TMR upgrade
What are TMR sticks?
TMR stands for tunnel magnetoresistance. TMR sticks read the stick's position using a magnet, so nothing rubs inside the sensor. That's the wear that causes drift in standard potentiometer sticks.
Will my controller feel different?
It feels the same in your hand: same caps, height and tension. The difference is a cleaner, more stable centre.
Which controllers do you repair?
PS5 DualSense, PS5 DualSense Edge, PS4 DualShock 4 (original and v2), and Xbox Series X|S Wireless Controllers.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, a 6-month warranty on the sticks and our workmanship.
Will opening my controller void the manufacturer warranty?
It usually ends any remaining manufacturer cover. If your controller is still under warranty, claim that first. We'd rather you got a free fix.
Dead centre. Every time.
